“ We decided spur of the moment to have Sunday evening dinner at Yakitori after seeing a long afternoon movie. We were able to get a nice table on their covered patio. The cover is new since we last came. A nice addition. I also noticed that they are in the process of expanding. We ordered the coconut soup, sexy lady roll and dragon roll, along with two entrées. My entrée consisted of a beautiful piece of salmon and seasonal vegetables with teriyaki sauce on the side and white rice. Paul ordered a filet mignon dish, but unfortunately the waitress got mixed up and never brought it. Therefore, he had ordered the second roll. He also had a delicious and refreshing Mai Thai drink at the beginning which he loved. The place was very crowded being that it was a holiday weekend - Valentine's Day and presidents weekend. The food was delicious and we look forward to coming back in the near future. ”
“ Stopped in here recently for lunch with my wife and 3 friends. We started off with a salad of bok choy and Brussels sprouts (it had a delicious sauce). Everyone had sushi but me but I'm told that the quality of the fish was very good. I veered toward the Thai side of the menu and ordered a bento box. It contained miso soup, 3 dumplings, edamame, rice and red curry with chicken. Everything was very good and we hope to return someday soon... ”
“ Service is prompt and the sushi is always fresh and delicious. Our server was attentive and checked with us numerous times An added bonus is you can order ahead. You don't even need to get out of the car as there is drive up service It does get busy but there is outdoor dining if you prefer. Always a nice place to come for sushi ”
“ Off season this place is pretty quiet. You can walk in with no reservation and be seated right away. On season, you need to make a reservation few days in advance, it gets crowded! This is all good quality food. Started with duck rolls, bang bang shrimp, tuna crispy rice, and gyoza. Everything very good. Then we got one assorted sushi platter, and two different specialty rolls (golden scallop, and black dragon). Both really good. We will come back!0 ”
“ Amazing experience everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. An amazing evening of curated, handcrafted sushi ”
“ This place was AWESOME! It seemed a little warm inside so we decided to sit outside! Both of our waiters were knowledgeable and friendly! Their happy hour (that is everyday) was amazing, such a good variety and great portions. Most happy hour sushi rolls tend to be smaller than the regular size, but not theirs. Even their spicy tuna was a good size and for $6, was shocking! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. I branched out for me and tried the Out of Control roll and it was DELICIOUS! We also had two servings of the spicy tuna biscuits which is their take on crispy rice! Again the portion was impressive! I was also sold on the red dragon roll because it had mango in it. I normally avoid shrimp but it was very good! We did not have any drinks but their prices were also very fare! The only negative besides the pesky fly that wouldn't leave our food alone (which is understandable being outside), would be that we couldn't order a happy hour roll to go even after dinning in. I told my husband we need one of these where we live, we would go daily! If we are ever back in the area we will surely go again! If they added mango to the out of control roll I would make the hour drive once a week!!! ”
“ We decided to stop by a local sushi spot and I'm so happy we did. This place is right next to the turnpike in Delray. The service was great and very fast. They were very accommodating to my hungry toddler and brought out their food first. The happy hour menu is awesome. They have so many great food items and appetizers as well as drinks. The popcorn chicken was delicious and made fresh. The chicken Fried rice was super flavorful. The everything role was absolutely divine and very fresh and the JB roll was pretty good as well. The restaurant is good for a quick bite to eat or a nice date night for locals. They also can accommodate fairly big parties whether it's inside or outside. Can't wait to come back to try other food items. ”
“ Did NOT disappoint on a Saturday for lunch. Popcorn chicken, yaka soba and pole bowel were on point (kids went nuts) Sushi was terrific. We will definitely be back ”
“ IMPORTANT see below Tonight we were seated inside. None of the outside tables were set. We ordered our drinks and I then decided to leave. The noise level was between 85 and 90 dB. Conversation impossible if you have a hearing impairment and wear hearing aids. On the way out I asked the manager if she could set up a table for us outside which she did. Yes it was hot and humid outside with a slight breeze, but much, much preferable to the noise level inside. As an octogenarian I can no longer remember if I could tolerate noise levels of this magnitude when I was in my 20s and 30s. However, long before my hearing aids era I found them offensive. Diner with friends should allow easy conversation. Moral: We will NEVER return unless we can be assured of an outside table. This is a shame because the food at Yakitori is 5 star and the service 4 star (attentive but a bit slow). ”
